100% Chardonnay from a single site in the village Kozana. They managed to bring out what had been known for a while – this 25-year-old vineyard is so special, so different, that it deserves its own wine. The upper layer of soil is shallow, underneath there is a rocky bed which gives minerality to the wine. The elevated position preserves freshness. A wine with depth, breadth and length. A true expression of the vineyard and its position as it is produced in the same manner as our Chardonnay “riserva”. Its ageing potential is at least 10 years, perhaps more.Striking golden-yellow colour with a brilliant shine. Almost discreet in its bouquet, yet the richness comes through with complexity and finesse, hinting of buer, wet stones, gentle fruity notes of peach, and caramel. Dry, rich and intense on the palate. Thetexture is oily, the wine juicy, perhaps even slightly sweet. Despite the full body it is pleasant, harmonious and balanced. A wine vivid with potential, developing into a fine salty finish.
Vintage Tunina is bright straw-colored with golden reflections. The nose is intense, wide, very elegant and persistent with scents of honey and country flowers. To the palate it is dry, soft, well balanced with an extraordinary persistence due to its full body. It matches with first courses with truffles with fish dishes and poultry. It is a great match with fresh salmon stuffed with parmesan cheese and artichokes.
Ancestral yet contemporary, centered around an ancient production approach that is simultaneously state of the art, Nectar is a pure, natural and sensual Demi Sec. A very hard-to-come-by style, it is the fruit of a dedicated cuvée, produced exclusively from chardonnay grapes from no less than 30 different hilltop, south-facing vineyards. 30% is fermented in small white oak casks. Both for bottle fermentation and for dosage when disgorging, a sugar-rich must is used made from estate grapes left to dry on the vines.A cuvée with a white, long-lasting foam, fine bubbles and a deep straw color verging on golden with time. The bouquet is elegantly sweet: honey,astry, vanilla pods, candied citrus fruit and flowers. The mouthfeel is full and enveloping, creamy, smooth and balanced by a sweet freshness.
Its blend reflects the diversity and complementarity of the three main grape varieties in Champagne whose proportions vary from year to year, but always find the same harmony: the body of Pinot Noir (30 to 40%), the suppleness of Meunier (30 to 40%), and the finesse of Chardonnay (20 to 30%).Slightly golden straw yellow with delicate green glints.Green apple, citrus, etc. The striking intensity of these fruity notes is immediately followed by a wave of mineral freshness and white flowers. Then, the blonde nuances of brioche, cereals and fresh nuts hint at elegant maturity.Generous and tasty, white fruit notes including pear, white peach and apple, unfurl on the palate, in the company of fine, light bubbles.
