The 68% Cabernet Sauvignon, 29% Merlot, 2% Cabernet Franc, and 1% Petit Verdot blend carries great potential and remarkable complexity. The 2015 Chateau Pichon Longueville Comptesse Lalande presents a deep purple colour with shades of violet and lilac. The complex and ripe nose exudes strong black fruits and dark chocolate notes, followed by subtle hints of dry fruits, cedar, and tobacco. The generous palate offers a lovely intense, ripe acidity, with touches of blueberry and cassis, all the while carrying an incredible range of flavours.

Medium deep ruby colour with purple shades. The bouquet is moderately emphasized, beautifully ripe and floral. Ripe dark red and black forest fruits, nice touch of wood. Very fine. A dry taste, full-bodied, firm, delicious. It appears very ripe, with a bit of marmalade notes, but remains vibrant with a nice acidity. With soft tannins and a long aftertaste. It has matured for 1 year in larger oak barrels to produce a neat Blaufränkisch with a fruity aftertaste. Bluefränkisch is an indigenous Slovenian variety.

Medium intense ruby color with a thin brownish edge and faintly colored tears. Onsmell first herbs and spices, then fruity (cranberries, blackberries, rosehip jam, plum jam), later the sweet ripe scents of vanilla, dried figs, tender musk, stable herring, hay open. Fine, smooth, sweet, ripe taste; the long aftertaste reminds us of mushrooms, umami. Medium full body.

Fresh, mineral wine with elegant aftertaste and pleasant acidity. Perfect as aperitif, with fish or different other appetizers.Hand picked grapes are crushed under low pressure. The must is cooled to 10°C. After settling for 24-hours, clear must is racked into stainless steel tanks for fermentation into wine. Fermentation is quickly followed by decanting to preserve the fruitiness of the wine, causing no biological deacidification. Wine is bottled in the summer of the year after harvest.

Southern exposure. Top of the hill. Sun thoughout the day. Very rocky and opoka terrain, never lacks water. Planted 1980.Deeper golden-yellow colour with a pleasant shine. A gentle yet broad bouquet, rather aromatic on the nose for Rebula – just perfectly enough. Intertwining notes of dry grass, dry herbs, toast, hints of caramel, evenbuer. The sensations appear harmonious, compact.Dry on the palate, medium body, with a nice degree of mature acidity creating a stirring contrast in the mouth. The texture is somewhat oily, and the wine appears subdued and rich despite the full ripeness of the grapes. Intense on the palate, perpetually exciting the taste buds, long, crisp and clear finish. A firm Rebula destined for haute cuisine.
