Produced by Damilano since 2008, Barbera d’Asti represents a new viticultural challenge: growing the most important native varietal in Piedmont. The production of Barbera d’Asti is the fruit of a recent rental agreement which grants Damilano vineyard management rights over a 11 hectare vineyard in Casorzo in the province of Asti, an area in which Barbera has been grown since the 1800s.This 100% Barbera wine is produced from a Monferrato vineyard that is 20 to 30 years old. The soil contains white marl and tends to be calcareous. This wine has a red color with intense purple tones and a fruit nose with light spice notes. It has a persistent flavor reminiscent of currants, violets, cherries and vanilla.

The Brut Réserve is a Slovenian sparkling wine produced with the greatest respect for the traditional Champagne method. The expertise of French winemaker, who has worked in major Champagne houses, let us develop a unique wine style in Slovenia with the use of reserve wine.Made from grape varietals Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Žametna črnina (an endemic Slovenian varietal), Brut Réserve sparkling wine reveals year after year the subtle identity of terroir Dolenjska. But most importantly, Brut Réserve is a wine that perfectly combines power, finesse, and elegance, which are the cornerstones of house style. On the nose, this wine exudes aromas of citrus fruit and ripe pear coming from the Chardonnay. On the palate, the attack is straight and accurate, followed by a bright freshness. The Pinot Noir then comes in with its exquisite volume and smoothness. The finish is complex and elegant, thanks to the kindness of the reserve wines.

Bourgogne Chardonnay grows on clay and limestone. Fermentations take place in steel tanks with controlled temperature between 16 and 18 C, in order to develop the fruity aromas of the wine. A six month ageing on lees allows to bring a beautiful amplitude and roundness to the wine.
