Travarica of the Rossi family is a traditionally produced Istrian spirit made from four times distilled Istrian Malvasia pomace brandy enriched by maceration of 15 Mediterranean aromatic herbs. It has aged for 6 months in barrique barrels. Warm yellow color with golden reflection and fine density. On the nose reminiscent of walnut, almonds, hazelnut, and sage. On the palate, dry, warm, and a bit tart with an intense and long, slightly bitter finish.
The suggested serving temperature is 10 – 12 °C. It should be served chilled and neat, no ice. It goes well alone or paired with ratatouille and other boiled or roasted vegetable dishes.

Light green colour with yellow hues, brilliant. Strongly expressed varietal characteristics. An aroma of Mediterranean herbs - bay, rosemary, thyme – combined with fruity and floral notes. A delicate, mineral wine with just the right balance of freshness and smoothness.Hand harvest of biodynamic cultivated grapes. Short maceration of crushed grapes, pressing and must decantation. Spontaneous fermentation with natural yeast present on the grapes. Spontaneous malolactic fermentation. Six months maturation of the wine on the lees in stainless steel and concrete tanks. Bottling without filtration according to biodynamic calendar with minimal sulphur addition.

Odlična travarica z značajem
Rossi Travarica me je res prijetno presenetila. Čeprav sem poskusil že kar nekaj travaric, je ta nekaj posebnega. Ima bolj izrazit in bogat okus kot večina klasičnih travaric – rahlo bolj aromatična, a še vedno lepo uravnotežena.
