Vinification is carried out in stainless steel tanks at a temperature of 25ºC for two weeks. The maceration of the skins is subject to a meticulous control to extract the best expression of the varietal.
This delicious wine has an attractive cherry red colour with garnet iridescences. Its bouquet reveals a combination of deep aromas of wild fruits and violets, enveloped in light toasted notes. On the palate it is warm, with smooth tannins and a spicy finish, and a balsamic aftertaste with blueberry hints.

“Blanc de Blancs” is a nod to the origins of a winemaker at Domaine Slapšak. In his native Champagne, this denomination is used for wines that are elaborated exclusively from chardonnay.This noble variety is also a sponge of the terroir, and cuvée is the perfect example of this. All grapes come exclusively from Pesce lot, where chardonnays grow on flysch. This sedimentary rock (it consists of alternating sandstone and calcium-rich marl) is very crumbly and therefore suitable for Chardonnay’s deep roots exploration. This gives Chardonnay a unique force and style, which expresses itself gradually during the 40 months it spends on lees in cellar.
