In 2006, due to an abundant harvest, part of the Žametovka must was pre-fermented and immediately after fermentation distilled into brandy with an alcohol strength of 60% vol. It was then aged in oak barrels for 10 years, developing a beautiful color and a refined aroma and taste. Afterwards, it was very slowly diluted to 40% vol. alcohol using soft water.
