The vineyard where this wine is produced is one of the oldest owned by Louis Jadot since the XIXth century. It is located in the very heart of the appellation (next to the Corton Pougets) which then expanded after 1966. Originally, it was the only place to be allowed to bear the Corton-Charlemagne apellation. This vineyard is ideally South oriented.
The mild but very lasting aroma of vanilla gives the wine a reflection of maturation in 500 L oak barrels. The soft tannins blend nicely, the mild acidity gives the wine liveliness, but at the same time the wine is very elegant. The rich extract gives the wine a sweet hue, but the wine is dry with a deep tone.
Golden yellow with gentle orange hues indicating that the wine is macerated and barricaded. The intense aroma spreads lushly from the glass, is long and complex, fruity, can be reminiscent of vanilla and caramel. The taste is rich, with pronounced minerality, in the mouth the wine is dry and strong, with a long decline. Acids and alcohol are nicely coordinated and emphasize the harmony of the wine.We recommend it with vegetable cream soups, meat appetizers, fish main dishes, dishes with truffles.
Where velvety smooth flavors blossom on the tongue. Johnnie Walker Blue Label comes from hand-selecting rare Scotch Whiskies with a remarkable depth of flavor. Only one in 10,000 casks make the cut.Smell: Waves of spice give way to vanilla and honey.Taste: Caramel and hazelnuts course through dark chocolate.Finish: Luxuriously long, warming, smoky finish.
A wine of intense, dark cherry colour. Very balanced bouquet, revealing aromas of wild red fruit, blackberry and forest, with very well balanced toasted oak undertones. Pleasant but intense assault with liquorice notes that linger in the aftertaste. Rounded and with no edges.
