Nose
Quite gentle on the nose, nicely open and ripe. Fruity notes like ripe peaches are dominant, including touch of sweet spices like cinnamon
Taste
Dry on the palate, with oily texture, and pleasant feel. Though alcohol levels are moderat , it is obvious that it was made from fully ripe grapes.

White Carolina is of gold and yellow colour. The smell is expressive, with a distinct smell of coconut, caramel and over ripe fruit. In the mouth the wine is dry, dense, with appropriate levels of acidity. Some discrete aromas of ripening and yeast are recognized. A very compact and harmonious wine, offering a long after taste.

If ribula and EXTO (ex tokai) represent the floral and fruity part of the spectrum among our wines, Pinot Gris is from a completely different story. The color is quite deep, golden and indicates maturation and evolution. Although the primary aromas left the place for notes of flowers, dandelion honey, raisins and pine resin, the bouquet is unmistakably reminiscent of Pinot Gris.It might take a few minutes to break through all the layers of aromas and for the bouquet to fully open and develop. Dry in the mouth, with wonderful complexity and depth of character, a hint of tannins and a very long finish. Pinot Gris walking on untrodden paths, untamed but civilized.Pinot Gris is served chilled to 10 ° C. Due to its complex character, it goes well with greasy grilled fish such as mackerel, eel or carp, pasta with tomatoes and basil, eggplant dishes and also Asian cuisine.

Gentle golden yellow color. The bouquet is ripe, luxurious despite the years. Grapefruit, dried herbs, firn, quartz, juicy yellow fruits, butter. Sauvignon discreetly hints at its presence, Laško Riesling adds elegance, chardonnay structure. Dry in the mouth, medium body, with a flexible texture and lively acid. Aroma of ripe sauvignon - black currant-gooseberry, hay, even in the mouth a little pops up. Wine with character.Viinification: 50% Laški Rizling, the rest is Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc. Handpicked into 10 kg cases and emptied gently into a destemmer. Selected grapes rest in vats up to 4 days of skin contact for spontaneous fermentation with wild yeast. Aged on fine lees for 24 months in 500l and 25hl oak barrels. Blended before bottling. Unfined.
