Akord is an interesting sort, made of three white varieties - Traminer, Yellow Muscat and the local Kraljevina. Intense aroma, mature. At first it reminds us of a horsetail and the forest undergrowth. It does not act completely dry in the mouth, the tannins can be sensed. The aftertaste is long and surprisingly fruity.
The wine Alfonz was created in memory of the grandfather, his knowledge, tradition, and the family that exactly 100 years ago (in 1923) purchased the first 2 hectares of vineyard from Count Teuffenbach and produced their first own wine. We incorporate the traditional winemaking methods from that time and a modern stylization, which give the wine its distinctiveness, vibrancy, and liveliness – a true proof and stamp of the terroir. The grapes were grown according to high environmental standards, hand-harvested exclusively, and processed into wine using technologies with a low environmental footprint.Vinification: Immediately after harvesting the technologically ripe grapes, they were roasted, crushed, and cooled to 8°C before being transferred to a fermentation vessel, where cold maceration took place for 5 days. The grapes were then gently pressed, and the must was transferred into stainless steel tanks, where controlled fermentation occurred at 16°C. After the fermentation was completed, the wine aged in the tanks for an additional 12 months.

Amaro Istriano of the Rossi family is a fine digestive, made according to rich recipes of old Italian Amaro bitter liqueurs. A well-balanced aroma is imbued with scents of berries, herbs, and roots, with a citrus finish, on the palate reminiscent of green walnut, almond, encian, Mediterranean herbs, and roots. A long and fine finish characterizes the liqueur with an elegant citrus bitter-sweet aftertaste. The suggested serving temperature is 8 – 10 °C. It should be served chilled and neat or with ice and an orange peel. Goes well in combination with dried fruit or as a digestive after a rich meal.
The wine is a beautiful, deeper amber brick color. Fully ripe. The bouquet is reminiscent of quartz, earth, even honey. It is dry in the mouth, slightly bitter, the fruitiness is long gone, structurally, with an oily texture, shorter.Harvest is manual at the end of September.

It pairs excellently with rich dishes such as roast meats, game, beef steak, or aged cheeses. Its complexity and strength also make it an excellent candidate for further aging in the bottle, which will enhance its aromatic profiles.
The exceptional location of Rimc, the precision biodynamic farming, the triple thinning of the grapes and the weather conditions of the 2020 vintage have led to the consistency of the taste of Angel Barbera 2020. The harvest of Barbera took place on 22 September. The grapes were hand-picked and hand-selected into 15 kg crates. After 15 days of maceration, the wine was matured in 225 litre oak barrels, 50% were new and 50% used. Angel Barbera 2020, in the search for perfection of taste, contains not only Barbera of Rimc 93% but also a pinch of Merlot of Šmihel 7%. After 26 months of maturation, Angel Barbera 2020 is bottled without filtration and without purification. In vintages when the wines do not meet the house standards, the latter are not bottled. We have invested a great many man-hours in the 2021 and 2022 vineyard in the search for perfection, and we have done our best. However, due to the weather conditions, the latter variety did not meet the expected standards and the 2021 and 2022 vintages will not be available on the market.

Angel White is born in synergy with natural circuits. This is reflected in wines that do not stand out, neither in smell nor in taste. They don’t look for attention in a glass. Take your time for an Angel White.
