Hermitage “Monier de la Sizeranne” comes from a blending of different soils from West to East. Entirely destemmed, the grapes ferment in concrete tanks. From one to two daily treadings ensure a good extraction. Temperature varies between 30 and 33°C. 18 months ageing, 85% of which takes place in oak barrels, giving the wine its notes of oak. The remaining 15% is aged in concrete tanks to preserve minerality and freshness.

Taste
good attack, round and elegant wine with concentrated and gentle tannins. The final is on blackcurrant, raspberry and spicy (pepper) aromas.

Ruby red color with slight violet shades. Aromas of red fruits such as redcurrant, cherry, fresh sour cherries. The wine is fresh, pleasant and slightly tannic on the palate.Separate harvest of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot in search of optimal ripeness of grapes. This is followed by maceration with the duration of fermentation, pressing and flowing into wooden oak barrels (225l) from various French oaks, where the wine matured during mixing - bâtonnage (three times a week in the first year of maturation) for 30 months. Unfiltered filling and additional maturation in the bottle.

The wine represents Movia in its essence, expressing elegance and complexity. The Great Red is composed of Merlot, which provides the backbone and the character of the wine, Cabernet Sauvignon, which takes care of the aroma, and Pinot Noir, which brings elegance and conjures special tastes.Its aromas are intense, luxurious. We detect black berries, black currants, amarena cherries, ripe plums and red roses. Soon we notice buttery scents, which are interlaced with perceptions of sweet spices, and the combination reminds us of plum tart. With time, notes of cedar, carob and chocolate express, and the finish reveals a slight touch of eucalyptus and smoke.The mouthfeel is majestic. We sense softness, alcohols are well integrated into the structure. Its freshness is emphasized indicating its youthful character that is confirmed by velvety tannins. A wine of intensity, accentuated elegance and a vigorous body that pampers us with a long-lasting aftertaste reminiscent of ripe wild berries, sweet spices and chocolate.
