Uvaia has a typical orange color. The wine is very concentrated on the nose with the aroma of almonds and wild strawberries. The concentration continues also in the mouth. A pleasant acidity enhance the wines elegance and timeless. A wine with strong character and long aftertaste.

Deep amber color, slightly cloudy. At first we find tertiary notes, earth, smoke, wood, dried fruit. Nicely decorated, varied. Dry mouth, high acidity, rather tart, surprisingly light body in terms of fullness of taste. Fully ripe, in full form. Medium length. Very unique, good!After the harvest the maceration took place for 4 days (without temperature control, without added yeasts, without clarifications…) with which we allow that a large amount of substances from the skins go into most. Consequence is a very intensive yellow-orange colour with a small haziness and possible sediment which is a result of non-filtering. During two-year maturation in big oak barrels the wine also did naturally the lactic fermentation (as do all our wines). After the bottling the wine was kept in the cellar for another 3 years, before we estimated that the wine is ready for market.

Southern exposure. Top of the hill. Sun thoughout the day. Very rocky and opoka terrain, never lacks water. Planted 1980.Deeper golden-yellow colour with a pleasant shine. A gentle yet broad bouquet, rather aromatic on the nose for Rebula – just perfectly enough. Intertwining notes of dry grass, dry herbs, toast, hints of caramel, evenbuer. The sensations appear harmonious, compact.Dry on the palate, medium body, with a nice degree of mature acidity creating a stirring contrast in the mouth. The texture is somewhat oily, and the wine appears subdued and rich despite the full ripeness of the grapes. Intense on the palate, perpetually exciting the taste buds, long, crisp and clear finish. A firm Rebula destined for haute cuisine.
