Pinela is an autochthonous variety of Vipavska dolina region, cultivated exclusively on the slopes and elated sites. Pinela is sensitive to high humidity and it is willing to grow calm, where reason, why we plant it to the poor soil, marly soil. As our grandfathers did.Ripens late and gains lower sugar content, we usually pick it in the middle of September. We pick Lanthieri Pinela manually, stems were removed and maceration performed for 10 hours. It was pressed gently, then spontaneous fermentation occurred and malolactic fermentation in stainless steel vats. Wine was maturing on indigenous yeast composite for 6 months.The wine is of medium deep golden yellow color. The bouquet is pronounced, fruity, and also smells of tropical fruits such as bananas and pineapples, ginger and ripe apricots. It is dry in the mouth, despite the lower alcohol level it works fuller, perhaps also due to the rather oily texture, quite intense, it ends in a long, fruity aftertaste.
Varietal composition: 50% Chardonnay, 50% Pinot NoirYellowish-gold color with fine bubbles. It smells of pears, apples, fresh bread and honey. It is characterized by a very complex and long aftertaste.
Intense garnet red colour with violet hues. It displays varietal characteristics of Barbera. Very complex aroma and flavour of ripe blackberries, forest undergrowth, plums, graphite. A rich, full body with an exceptionally long aftertaste and pleasing freshness.Hand harvest of biodynamic cultivated grapes with sorting of grapes directy in the vinyard. Four week maceration of crushed grapes, spontaneous fermentation with natural yeast present on the grapes and malolactic fermentation. One year maturation of the wine in traditional big old oak barrels. Bottling according to biodynamic calendar with minimal addition of sulphur without filtration.
Varietal aroma reminiscent of citrus fruit, ripe peaches, melon, butter, vanilla and hazelnuts; complemented by an expressive bread crust aroma. Rich, but fresh and crisp flavor. Elegant texture, outstanding mineral taste. An everlasting velvety finish. Deep yellow with a golden hue.
