Beaune is the capital of the wine-producing region of Burgundy as well as the most extensive communal AOC appellation in the Côte d’Or. The production of red wines covers an area of 368.74 ha including 281.49 ha of Premiers Crus. Most of the vineyards are located on pronounced slopes. Soil: limestone mixed with clays.Exposure of the vineyard: from East to South.A dark garnet color.An intense nose marked by a grilled reduction and smoky notes. Golden yellow with greenish tones. Composed and rich, reminding of Acacia and Passion Fruit blossoms, green almond, floral honey. Medium bodied, mineral and smooth, juicy. Pleasant and aromatic on back palate. Long.Manually picked grapes were picked in the mid-September. Grape berries were macerated for 12 hours, then gently pressed. After sedimentation, spontaneous fermentation occurred and malolactic fermentation at 18°C. Young wine was maturing for 6 months in stainless steel tanks.
