The wine is ruby red colour and thick. The smell is intensive, very fine and rich. We can sense the smell of ripe red fruit and berries ( Morella cherry, blackberry, blueberry, dried plums, and jam). It tastes dry, warm and soft, pretty fresh, tannic and tasty, balanced, intensive, elegant and durable, harmonic, strong and ripe.The wine is ripe and good to drink, but in years it will gain the harmony and drinkability. It will achieve its best after 10 years.

On the nose, the wine opens on spicy notes of black pepper and cloves, with dark berry fruit undertones and a hint of varietal dried herbs character. The palate is medium to full-bodied with a vibrant backbone and silky tannin structure filling your mouth. A modern, elegant and drinkable Blaufränkisch. Drink from 2020 to 2028.The grapes for Lodoma are harvested from the vineyards of Lokvica and Doma, where we carefully monitor the yield. The grapes were hand-harvested into 15-pound crates. After a 20-day maceration and after pressing into stainless steel tank to ensure that ferments are dry and to perform malolactic fermentation, the wine matured for 10 months in 2 and 3 year old 225 liter barrique barrels. The wine is not filtered.

The mild but very lasting aroma of vanilla gives the wine a reflection of maturation in 500 L oak barrels. The soft tannins blend nicely, the mild acidity gives the wine liveliness, but at the same time the wine is very elegant. The rich extract gives the wine a sweet hue, but the wine is dry with a deep tone.

We observe slowly slipping tears along the walls of the glass.Alluring and refined aromas are reminiscent of pineapple slices, quince and yellow apple, lemon zest, honey, yellow rose petals, straw, wild mint, pan brioche, vanilla and almonds.A dry expression of Chardonnay leaving a soft and reasonably warm touch. It refreshes our palate pleasantly, leaving a mineral touch, with slight astringency resulting in a slightly spicy finish.A wine of nobility, with an adolescent spirit that shows its ageing potential. It boasts a long persistency and an intense, harmonious taste with flavours of apple, quince, lemon zest and butteriness in the finish.
