A wine of dark ruby red, almost black colour. The Amfora bottle is a designer masterpiece that showcases our best-selling wines. Hand harvested grapes from the best sections of the vineyards are processed and aged in oak barrels and the clay amphorae recessed into the cellar floor. Contact with the skin is long and the wine has time to enrich itself with all the goodness of the grape and to develop a blossom which indicates full maturity. Intense ruby with soft brick-red edge. Rich and complex, reminiscent of dried plums, kirsch-soaked cherries, undergrowth, soot, liquorice, white pepper, leather and herbs.Rich, structured and ripe. The impression on the palate is of ripe dark berries and herbs. Sweet ripe tannins and a sophisticated hint of wood give the wine a nice long aftertaste.

The color is delicate salmon, bubbles fine, more numerous. The bouquet is ripe, we find butter, bread crust, but still with a nice measure of reddish fruit. Dry wine with lively acidity, which gives a nice verticality, the texture of the bubbles is beautiful, fine, maybe a little bitter, but with a clear taste. Elegant, mature.Rose brut sparkling wine is produced from hand-picked velvet black grapes from 2009 from the Zadar vineyard above Šentrupert. After the alcoholic fermentation of the clear must, the wine was matured for one year in a stainless steel tank, after which it was re-fermented in bottles, where it was matured on yeast for at least three years.Produced by classical method.Medals:bronze medal Decanter London 2019, 89 points.

Four years of sitting on yeast, it is the youngest sparkling wine of the Medot Homestead, but already shows the character and characteristics of serious champagnes.The tiny and subtle bubbles are vibrant and energetic. Yellow-green and gold - the intertwining of freshness and ripeness is noticeable at first sight. Pastries and white fruits, citrus fruits, and a full and harmonious minerality can be detected, ending in a convincing and long finish. The wine nose is fresh, fruity, mineral. The predominant note is ripe Golden Delicious, overlaid with the scent of white peach and almond blossom. In the background, we notice the gentle autolytic notes of four years of sitting on the yeast.
